ASSURANCE FUND UNDER LAND TRANSFER ACT (RETURN SHOWING HOW INVESTED, AND AMOUNT OF CLAIMS PAID OUT OF).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated Ist October, 1884. Ordered, " That there bo laid upon the table a return from each provincial district or Land Eegistrar's district of (1) tho amount of monoy received as contributions to the Assurance Fund under tho Land Transfer Act, and how the accumulations of said fund are invested; (2) tho amount of claims mado on tho said fund; (3) tho amount of claims paid out of tho said fund ; (4) the amount of claims refused ; (5) the amount of claims settled outside of the department; (C) tho amount of claims held over in aboyanco."— (Mr. Gillies.)
