Alexander Montgomery, M.A., with first-class honours in chemistry and physics (London examination); alumnus of Otago University and Otago School of Mines; ex-assistant to Professor Black for two years in the chemistry classes of Otago University. Donald Henderson, fourth year's student in Otago University and School of Mines; licensed surveyor; at present attending the chemistry (senior), assaying, and metallurgy and mining classes in Otago University and School of Mines.
