THE NEW ZEALAND RAILWAY COMMISSIONERS. By-law No. 11. Additional By-law for New Zealand Railways. The New Zealand Eailway Commissioners, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred by " The "Government Eailways Act, 1887," do hereby make the following by-law (in addition to by-laws published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 89, of 26th October, 1882), that is to say:— By-law. No person delivering or receiving goods or passengers to or from any part of a railway, or any siding connected therewith, or to or from any engine, vehicle, or machine working upon such railway or siding, shall obstruct or place any impediment in the way of shunting, moving, or working any engines, vehicles, or machines upon such railway or siding. The owner or agent or other person having charge of each shoot, gangway, crane, or other appliance used for or in connection with such receipt or delivery of goods or passengers shall place a person in control of the same, whose duty it shall be to prevent such gangway, shoot, crane, or other appliance from obstructing or impeding the shunting, moving, or working aforesaid. Every person offending against or committing a breach of the provisions of the foregoing by-law shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay a penalty not exceeding £10. The common seal of the New Zealand Eailway Commissioners was hereunto affixed, this eighteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and (1.5.) ninety, in the presence of •Tames MoKebeow,} Eail *• P' Maxwell, Commissioners.
