NUMBER OF MEN AND BOYS EMPLOYED IN THE RAILWAY SERVICE (RETURN OF).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated 25th June, 1890. Ordered, " That a return be procured by the Government from the Railway Commissioners, and laid before this House at an early date, giving the total number of employes on the New Zealand railways of all grades—(l) on the Ist January, 1889, (2) on the 31st May, 1890; the return to show also separately the number of employes of each year of age up to the age of twenty-one on the above dates respectively."—(Mr. W.
