EDUCATION: THE CANTERBURY COLLEGE (PAPERS RELATING TO). [In continuation of E.-7, 1890.]

1, ANNUAL STATEMENT OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS. At the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Canterbury College, held on Friday, the 10th July, 1891, the Chairman's statement of the progress made, and the work done in the several departments during the year was read, as follows : — The College. During the past twelve months the following changes have taken place on the Board of Governors : Three vacancies have occurred, two by the death of the Hon. W. Beeves and Dr. Turnbull, and the other owing to the resignation of Bishop Harper. To replace these members the following have been elected by the graduates in consecutive order: Messrs. A. E. G. Ehodes and L. Cohen, and the Eight Eev. the Lord Bishop of Christchurch.
