AGREEMENT FOR INTERCHANGE OF TRAFFIC BETWEEN THE NEW ZEALAND RAILWAY COMMISSIONERS AND THE WELLINGTON AND MANAWATU RAILWAY COMPANY
Laid on the Table of the House in pursuance of Section 172 of " The Public Works Act, 1882."
No 1 The General Manager, Wellington and Manawatu Eailway Company, to the Commissioners, New Zealand Eailways. Wellington and Manawatu Eailway Company (Limited), Gentlemen,— Wellington, 29th April, 1892. The agreement for the interchange of traffic between you and this company over the New Plymouth-Napier Section expired on the 9th March last. I presume you are agreeable that it should continue on the same lines for the current year If so, will you please advise accordingly? I have, &c, Jas. No. 2. Mr E. G PiLCHEi; to the General Manager, Wellington and Manawatu Eailway Company Sir, — New Zealand Government Eailways, Head Office, Wellington, sth May, 1892. With reference to your letter of the 29th ultimo, receipt of which I had the honour to acknowledge on the 2nd instant, I am directed by the Eailway Commissioners to inform you that they agree to the continuance for twelve months frbm the 9th March last of the agreement for interchange of traffic between the New Zealand Government railways and your company E. G PILCHEB, Secretary The General Manager Wellington-Manawatu Eailway Company, Wellington.
