No. 397, 1891, Sess. ll.—Petition of Panapa Nihotahi and 8 Others. Petitioners allege that they have lost a considerable portion of their land, Tatua East Block, through the boundary of an adjoining block being wrongly laid down, and they pray for adjustment. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion that this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration. 7th October, 1892. No. 280.—Wi Hopihama Tamihana and 14 Others. Petitioners complain of the awards made in connection with the Okurupatu Block, and pray that there may be a readjustment. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration. 7th October, 1892. Your Committee beg to report that they held their final meeting this morning, it being the fortieth sitting of the present session. There were 106 petitions received for consideration, seventy-four ■of which were dealt with, the remaining thirty-two being unavoidably left over (see list attached). The Committee also considered and reported on the following Bills : namely, Kaipo Eeserves Bill, Mere Taka Land-grant Bill, Napier Native Hostelry Site Sale Bill, Tahoraiti Titles Amendment and Validation Bill, Eohe Potae Investigation of Titles Bill, Native Land Purchase Bill, Kaipo Eeserves Bill (No. 2), North Island Main Trunk Eailway Loan Application Acts Amendment Bill, Native Land (Validation of Titles) Bill. 3—l. 3.

Final Bepoet. Youb Committee beg to report that they held their final meeting this morning, it being the fortieth sitting of the present session. There were 106 petitions received for consideration, seventy-four of which were dealt with, the remaining thirty-two being unavoidably left over (see list attached).
