LIEUT.-COLONEL FOX (RETURN OF PARTICULARS AS TO ENGAGEMENT OF, COST OF REPORT BY, ETC.).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated sth July, 1893. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House showing—(l) The length of time Lieut.-Colonel Fox was in the service of the colony before he completed his report on the defences ; (2) the amount of his salary, travelling-expenses, and allowances during that time ; (3) what the report mentioned has cost the colony to have produced ; (4) the terms of any agreement that has been entered into with Lieut.-Colonel Fox."—(Mr. Palmeb.)
