No. 569, 1891, Sess. ll.—Petition of Matenga Moroati and i Others. Petitioners allege that a piece of land, about 20 acres in extent, situated near the church at Moutoa, on the Manawatu Eiver, has been wrongfully conveyed to the Bishop of Wellington, and they pray for inquiry. I have the honour to report that the Committee is of opinion that this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry. 6th July, 1893.

No. 725, 1891. —Petition of Penetira Eang-iteora and 12 Others. Petitionees pray for a rehearing in the matter of the Ngakaroro Block, No. 3d. I have the honour to report the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 6th July, 1893.
