I am directed by the Agent-General to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 29th ultimo, relating to the conveyance of passengers approved by him by your company's steamers at reduced rates, and. in reference thereto to state that he has pleasure in confirming the arrangements referred to therein as having been adopted by the New Zealand Shipping Company and your company.
