VOLUNTEER AND RESERVE CORPS. (STRENGTH OF FORCE AT AUCKLAND, WELLINGTON, CHRISTCHURCH, AND DUNEDIN, FROM 1890 TO 1895.)

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 23rd June, 1896. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing (1) The number of officers, non-commissioned officers, and men, being members of the Reserve Corps at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, on 31st December, 1895, in terms of section 45 of "The Defence Act, 1886"; and (2) the names of the various Volunteer corps, with a detail of their respective strengths at 31st December, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1893, 1894, and 1895." —(Mr. Willis.)
