Return to an Order of the Bouse of Representatives dated the 15th July, 1898. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing,—(l) The salaries of the various professors in the several colleges affiliated with the New Zealand University, and also the amount of class-fees, if any, received by each professor during the year 1897 in addition to his fixed salary ; and (2) the lecturers in each of the said colleges, the subjects taught, and the amount of salary or fees received by each such lecturer."—(Mr. Graham.)
