HARBOUR BOARDS (RETURN OF APPOINTMENTS TO); AND TRAVELLING-EXPENSES DRAWN BY MEMBERS OF WESTPORT HARBOUR BOARD.

Returns to Orders of the House of Representatives dated the 18th October and 6th September, 1898. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return setting out the names of all members of Harbour Boards nominated by the Governor, and now aoting, with the dates of their appointments, and, in case of reappointments, the number of times (with dates) on which they had been previously appointed."—(Mr. G. Hutchison.) Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return setting out the amounts charged on the aocounts of the Westport Harbour Board for each of the last five years for the travelling-expenses of the members of the Board."— (Mr. G.
