There is no town in the colony where such skill and pains have been devoted to hospital construction as Dunedin, except, perhaps, Wanganui. The general management and the medical and surgical work are deserving of the highest praise.

With the general prosperity of the district this Hospital at Clyde has improved. The water-supply is now good, and the storeroom well stocked with linen, &c. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson keep all in good order. The old part of the building with its leaky roof is to come down and another ward be added.
