Two receiving-boxes were closed at: Dunedin—City, 1. Wellington—City, 1. Designations op Offices. The designations of offices were changed as follows : Auckland —Maunganui Bluff to Aranga, Newmarket (telegraph-office) to Newmarket Bail way, Otau to Paparimu, Pukeatua to Nanahu, Tangihua to Tangiteroria, Tokatoka to Behia, Tokatoka Wharf to Tokatoka. Christchurch — Addington to Addington Bailway. Gisborne—Tikitiki to Kahukura. Napier —Mahia to Opoutama. Wanganui—Punihu Stream to Te Kiri. A designation was corrected at: Auckland—Mangapeehi to Mangapehi.
