No. 41. My Loed Downing Street, 13th September, 1900. In reply to your Lordship's despatch (No. 42) of the 2nd July, I have the honour to inform you that the Queen has been graciously pleased to approve of the retention of the title of " Honourable " by Mr. John McKenzie, who has served for more than three years as a member of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand.
