Station S) : thence towards the south-west generally by a right line to Silver Peak; and thence by Sections Nos. 2 and 1, Block V., Silver Peak Survey District, and the Otago Museum Endowment, and by the western boundary-lines of Section No. 1, Block IX., and Section No. 5, Block VIII., Silver Peak Survey District, and the western boundaryline of Run No. 171b to the north-western corner of that run; thence by the south-western boundary-lines of Runs Nos. 171g and 171c to the Hummock (Trig. Station D) ; thence by a right line to the south-western corner of Section No. 2of Block VI., Budle Survey District ; thence by the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 2, 14, 15, 24, 16, 17, 19, 20, and 21, Block VI., Budle Survey District; thence by Section No. 1, Block VII., Strath-Taieri Survey District, and Section No. 2, Block VI., Strath-Taieri Survey District, to the intersection of the north-eastern boundaryline of the last-mentioned section by a right line drawn between the Hummock Trig. Station and the north-eastern boundary-line of the Forest Plantation Reserve, in Block 11., Strath-Taieri Survey District; thence by the said right line to the Taieri River, at the Mount Ida Electoral District : and thence towards the north-west by the Mount Ida Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the Oamaru Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement. Chalmers. This district is bounded towards the north-west and north generally by the Waikouaiti Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the north-western corner of the Borough of Northeast Valley to Carey's Bay : thence towards the east by Otago Harbour to a point due west of the northernmost extremity of Quail Island : thence towards the north-east by a right line to the northernmost extremity of Quail Island ; thence by a right line across Otago Harbour to the northernmost corner of the reserve in Block VI., Portobello Bay District; thence by Portobello Bay : thence again towards the north-west by Portobello Bay and Otago Harbour to Taiaroa Head : thence towards the east generally by the ocean to Cape Saunders : thence towards the south by the ocean to a point in line with the western side of Hillside Road : thence towards the south-west by a line to and by the west side of the Hillside Road, in the Borough of St. Kilda, to the Borough of South Dunedin : thence again towards the north-west and south-west by the Borough of South Dunedin (as the said borough is described in the Neiu Zealand Gazette No. 99, 13th December, 1877) to the Borough of Caversham ; thence by the Borough of •Caversham (as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 99, 13th December, 1877) to the City of Dunedin : thence again towards the north-west and south-west by the City of Dunedin (as the said city is described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 101, 20th December 1877) to the Borough of Maori Hill; and thence by the Borough of Maori Hill (as the said borough is described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77, Bth August, 1878) to the north-western corner of the Borough of North-east Valley aforesaid, the place of commencement: including Quarantine Island. City of Dunedin. This district is bounded towards the north and towards the south-east generally by the Waikouaiti Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from Swampy Hill (Trig. Station S, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District) to a point in line with the south-western boundary-line of Section No. 12 of Block VIII., North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District; thence towards the east generally by the Chalmers Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to Otago Harbour ; thence towards the south-east by Otago Harbour to the Borough of Caversham; thence towards the south by the Borough of Caversham (as the said Borough of Caversham is described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 99, 13th December, 1877) to the westernmost corner of that borough ; thence towards the north-west by the north-western boundary-line of the Borough of Mornington (as the said borough is described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 42, 14th May, 1877) to the Borough of Roslyn at Section No. 17, Lower Kaikorai Survey District; thence again towards the south-west and towards the north-west and towards the north generally by the south-western, north-western, and northern boundaries of the Borough of Roslyn (as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 9, 20th February, 1890) to the northernmost corner of Section 51 of the Waikari Survey District; and thence again towards the north-west generally by the western boundarylines of the Borough of Maori Hill (as the said Borough of Maori Hill is described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77, Bth August, 1878) to Swampy Hill aforesaid, the place of commencement. Caversham. This district is bounded towards the north generally by the City of Dunedin Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the western corner of the Borough of Mornington to the northeasternmost boundary-line of the Borough of Caversham ; thence towards the east generally by the Chalmers Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the ocean; thence towards the south-east by the ocean ; and towards the south-west by the south-western boundary-lines of the Borough of Caversham (as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 99, 13th December, 1877) to the City of Dunedin Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement.
