EDUCATION: ENDOWMENT RESERVES FOR EDUCATION.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 21st August, 1903. Ordered, —"That there be laid before this House a return showing—(l) The area of land in each provincial district set apart for primary education, and the capital value and annual income from same ; (2) the area of land in eaoh provincial district set apart for secondary education and the capital value and annual income from same: (3) the area of land set apart in each provincial district for University-college education and the capital value and annual income from same ; (4) the annual income of each high school in the colony (a) from State endowment of land, and (b) from other endowments; and (5) the annual income of University colleges from land, also from other endowments." —(Mr. Buddo.)
