No. 730.—Petition of J. C. Kirayin, of Nelson. Petitioner prays that he receive the arrears of wages for services rendered in South Africa. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration, and that the Government be requested to pay the claims for sick-pay up to the date of discharge —25th October, 1902 —if such be correct. 26th October, 1904.

No. 927.—Petition of Ann De Launay, of Stratford. Petitioner prays that she be refunded the sum of £20, the expenses incurred by her late husband in military services rendered to the colony.
