No. 680, 1903.—Petition of H. te Kani Pere and 25 Others. Petitioners protest against land being taken out of the Waihirere Nos. 1, 2, and 3 Blocks for water-supply purposes in Gisborne. I am directed to report that the Government recommends that this petition be referred to the Government for immediate inquiry. 10th August, 1904.
