INCOME-TAX (RETURNS RELATIVE TO).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 29th October, 1903. Ordered. " That there be laid before this House a return showing the number of persons or companies paying income-tax on incomes (1) between £300 and £400, (2) between £400 and £500, (3) between £500 and £700, (4) between £700 and £1,000, (5) between £1,000 and £1.500, (6) between £1,500 and £2,000, (7) between £2,000 and £3,000. (8) between £3,000 and £4,000, (9) between £4,000 and £5,000, (10) over £5,000."—(Mr. Laurknson.)
