Apiti Domain. Section No. 41a, Block XI, Apiti Survey District. Area, 40 acres 2 roods. Work done during year : Sixteen chains fences and gate erected, trees felled. The Board has purchased 5 acres of land near Apiti Township for a sports-ground. Improvements now on domain: Ring fences and grassing. Used for grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Repairing fences, clearing, stumping, and grassing part of the domain. Ashhtjrst Domain. Sections Nos. 463 a and 463 c, Block 111, Gorge Survey District. Area, 46 acres 2 roods 11 perches. Work done during year : Fencing in shelter-trees, ploughing, and grassing. Several seats and a table were erected by the members of the Board and friends. Improvements now on domain : 120 chains wire fence, four gates, J chain picket fence, about a dozen rustic seats, willow protective works, and 14 acres ploughed and in grass. The reserve contains 25 acres of native bush, and is used for picnics and general recreation. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Treeplanting and maintenance. Bull's Domain. Section No. 5, Block XI, ltangitoto Survey District. Area, 45 acres. Work done during year: Fencing, road-making, gorse-grubbing, and tree-planting. Improvements now on domain: Double-ring boundary-fences; 10 acres fenced, ploughed, levelled, sown in grass, and planted with ornamental trees; pump and water-troughs. Used for cricket, football, rifle-shooting, athletic sports, and grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Erection of accommodation-shed, clearing, and gorse-grubbing. BUNNI'THOKPE DOMAIN, Sections Nos. 1501 to 1504, Block. VII, Kairanga Survey District. Area, 44 acres 3 roods 23 ptrches. Improvements now on domain: Seven acres fenced, drained, stumped, ploughed, and planted on three sides with ornamental and shelter trees. Used for sports and picnics. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Tree-planting on the fourth side of the area fenced. Thirty-seven acres of the domain is leased for twenty-one years; the lease expires on the 12th August, 1910. Eketahuna Domain. Section No. 40d and Lot 1 of Section No. 40, Block VI, Mangaone Survey District. Area, 14 acres and 7 perches. Leased for grazing. Work done during year: About 7 acres stumped and ploughed, and 8J chains fences erecte-d. Improvements now on domain: Stumping, ploughing, and fencing. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Ploughing, levelling, and grassing 7 acres. Featherston Domain. Section No. 338, Parts of Sections Nos. 152, 116, 123, and Suburban Section No. 122, Town of Featherston, and the Featherston Town Reserve. Area, 88 acres and 5 perches. Work done during year: Buildings, fences, seats, &c, painted and repaired, croquet-lawn laid down, trees and shrubs planted, noxious weeds eradicated, and grandstand enlarged and painted. Improvements now on domain : Shed and tables, band-rotunda, seats, fences, grandstand, and plantations. Used as a public pleasure-ground. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Further tree-planting, and general maintenance. i Hastwell Domain. Section No. 64, Block XIV, Mangaone Survey District. Area, 12 acres 1 iood 24 perches. Leased on improvement conditions. Improvements now on domain : Fences and grass. It is proposed to stump and plough 4 acres during the coming year. HuNTERVILI,E DOMAIN. Sections Nos. 17, 18, 25, 26, 33, and 54, Town of Hunterville, and 35, Block XV, Tiriraukawa Survey District. Area, 27 acres and 12 perches. Work done during year: Maintenance of grounds and racing-track, and erection of 10 chains fences. Improvements now on domain: Eighty chains fences, plantation, drains, tennis-court, pavilion, 4 acres ploughed and levelled, running-track, and conveniences. Used for sports, picnics, football, cricket, golf, and tennis. Island Bat Domain. An irregularly shaped island situated in Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District. Area, 8 acres. This domain consists of a rocky island situated in Island Bay. No improvements have been effected..
