Waintji Domain. Section No. 727, Block VII, Akaroa Survey District. Area, 2 acres. During the year the work of levelling, draining, and grassing was started, and is proceeding satisfactorily. Improvements now on domain: Eighteen chains fences, i\ chains 6 in. pipe drain, and 13£ chains open drain. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Completing the levelling and grassing now in hand, and repairing fences. Waitaki Noeth Domain. Reserve No. 2915, Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District. Area, 57 acree. Work done during year: Repairs to fences. Improvements now on domain: Fences, well, windmill and pump, trough, and plantation. Used for grazing purposes, Proposed operations for ensuing year: Tree-planting an-d fencing. Weedon Domain. Reserve No. 1596, Block XV, Rolleston Survey District. Area, 48 acres 2 roods 17 perches. Work done during year : Fences cut and trimmed. Improvements now on domain: Fences, bathing-shed, bathing-pond, plantation, and cricket-ground. Used for cricket, picnics, and bathing. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Eradicating gorse and repairing fences. West Melton Domain. Reserve No. 1564, Rolleston Survey District. Area, 20 acres. Improvements now on domain : Fences, plantation surrounding the whole area, cycle-track, and swimming-baths. Used for sports and picnics. Winchester Domain. Reserves Nos. 2402 and 2449, Block XIV, Geraldine Survey District. Area, 42 acres 1 rood. Work done during year: General maintenance; new stile erected, giving entrance to cricketground, and four extra seats and conveniences have been provided. Improvements_ now on domain': Fences, stiles, gates, seats, plantations of ornamental trees and shrubs, windmill, store, dressing-rooms, tennis-court, cricket-ground, and bicycle-track. Three oaks, planted to commemorate the Jubilee and record reign of Her late Majesty Queen Victoria, and the accession of King Edward VII, are growing well. The two former bear inscribed brass plates. An avenue of trees surrounds the domain, and there is a plantation on the western side. The area is used for general recreation, sports, and picnics. Woodbuey Domain. Reserve No. 2407, Hororata Survey District. Area, 100 acres. Work done during year : Pavilion erected, tennis-court enlarged, and ornamental trees and shrubs planted, and general maintenance. Improvements now on domain: Two hundred and sixty-eight chains fences, 5 acres drain-ploughed, two pavilions, concrete bath (45 ft. by 18 ft.), dressing-room, lavatory, asphalt tennis-court, 8 acres plantations. Used for sports, cricket, school picnics, tennis, and general recreation. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Top-dress-ing tennis-court, painting old pavilion, formation of cricket-pitch, and renewal of portion of boundary-fences. Woodend Domain. Reserves Nos. 2134, 3728, and part of 94, Rangiora Survey District. Area, 268 acres 2 roods 23 perches. Work done during year : Tree-planting, erection of pavilion, and maintenance. Improvements now on domain : Four acres and a half levelled, plantations, fences, cricket-pitch, tenniscourt, football-ground, seats, pavilion, and conveniences. Used for sports, cricket, football, tennis picnics, and general recreation. The area adjoins the public school, and is also used by the school-children as a play-ground. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Tree and marramgrass planting. The work of sinking an artesian well will probably be undertaken also.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT. Albert Town Domain. Section No. 5, Block IV, Lower Wanaka Survey District. Area, 81 acres. This domain is under the control of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Dunedin. No work has been undertaken. Alexandea Domain. Sections Nos. 1 to 23, Block XI, and 1 to 22, Block XII, Town of Alexandra. Area, 10 acres 2 roods 5 perches. Improvements now on domain: Wire and netting fences, belt of poplar-trees, two tenniscourts one asphalt cricket-pitch, cycle-track, and plantation. Used for sports, picnics, and general recreation. No revenue accrues from the domain. The improvements are done by voluntary subscription.
