Residents of Karamea. Sir, — Karamea, 12th£June, 1906. Last night we received the sad and melancholy news of the death of Mr. Seddon. To-day I am deputed by the people of Karamea to convey, through you, their sincere and heartfelt sympathy with Mrs. Seddon and family in their very sad bereavement. New Zealand has lost a true patriot, a wise and far-seeing statesman, and a staunch friend to all mankind, whose good deeds will live in the hearts of all. Yours, &c, The Hon.
