TIMBER IN WESTLAND: RETURN RELATIVE TO AMOUNT CARRIED ON RAILWAYS, FREIGHT PAID, AND ROYALTY COLLECTED DURING YEARS ENDED 31st MARCH, 1907 AND 1908.
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 31st July, 1908. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House showing—(l) The total number of feet of timber carried on the Westland Section of the New Zealand Railways; (2) the total amount of freight received by the Railways for the haulage of such timber; (3) the total amount of royalty on timber collected by the Westland Land Board: such return to be for the years ended 31st March, 1907 and 1908." —(Mr. R.
