Work done during year : Fences repaired and maintained, and hedges trimmed. Improvements now on domain : Buildings, plantations, hedges, fences, swings, seats, water-supply, bowling-green, and tennis-court. Used for bowls, cricket, tennis, picnics, sports, cycling, football, general recreation, and grazing. Proposed operations for ensuing year : General maintenance, and asphalting tennis-court. Owaka Township Domain. Section No. 11l (formerly part of Section No. 3), Block VIII, Glenomaru Survey District. Area, 3 acres 3 roods 08 perches. t During the year a crossing was formed over the railway-line at the Dearest point of the domain to the township, and a gate and turnstile erected. This work was carried out by the Owaka liinV Corps. Improvements now on domain: Tennis-court, swings, fences, gates, and turnstile. Used for football, sports, shows, picnics, and military manoeuvres. Improvements now on domain : Boundary-fenoe. Used for cricket, football, and general recreation. Pounawba Domain. Sections Nos. 31, 53, 54, 55, 58, 59, 60, and 61, and a closed road, Block VI, Glenomaru Survey District. Area, 13 acres 1 rood 16 perches. Work done during year : Two acres cleared, stumped, burned, and prepared for cultivating, and 5 chains fencing erected. Improvements now on domain: Eighteen chains fencing, of which 5 chains is wire netting, 4 acres cleared and sown in grass, trees, and gate. Used for camping and picnics, also by tourists. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Removing and re-erecting about .") chains fencing, erecting rails around trees, and stumping, olearing, and burning an area, and sowing it down in grass. Sections Nos. 1 to 15, Block XIII, Town of Ranfurly. Area, 10 acres 2 roods 36 perches. Work done during year: Domain ploughed, harrowed, levelled, and sown in grass, and two tennis-courts formed. Proposed operations for ensuing year: Planting trees and sowing grass. Ranfuiily Park Domain. Suburban Sections Nos. 7 and 8, Block I, Town of Ranfurly. Area, .">2 acres and 31 perches. Improvements now on domain : Racecourse. Used chiefly for races. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Fencing domain. It is then proposed to lease it for grazing. Record Reign Domain. Section No. I, Block LXXXIX, Town of Cromwell. Area, 4 acres. Work done during year: General maintenance. Permission was granted to the local tennis club to use portion of the domain for tennis. During the year the Caledonian Society removed its pavilion to other grounds. Improvements now on domain: Twenty-five chains fencing, trees, and conveniences. Used for tennis, picnics, arid general recreation. Proposed operations for ensuing year : Planting trees and improving seating accommodation. Roslyn Domain. Section No. 7, Block X. Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District. Area, 12 acres 2 roods 28 perches. Work done during year : Tracks repaired, drains opened, and weeds cut. Leased for grazing.
