No. 594 (1909). —Petition of Emily M. Buckwortii, of Te Kuiti. Petitioner prays for compensation re Whakatane lands. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 17th August, 1910.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration, with a view to making provision for a reserve. 19th August, 1910.
