No. 185 (1911). —Petition of the Taupo Totara Timber Company (Limited), of Putaruru, Auckland. Petitioners pray that an Order in Council be issued enabling the company to acquire an area of Native land (not exceeding 200,000 acres) in the Taupo district, and to extend their tramway to Lake Taupo. I have the honour to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred back to the House, with a recommendation that the House refer it to some other Committee. 12th September, 1911.
