No. 171 (1911). —Petition of Kaka Porowini and 43 Others, of Kaikohe. Petitioners pray for a reinveetigation with regard to the partition of Motatau No. 5 Block. I am directed to report that, as the petitioners have not exhausted their legal remedy, the Committee has no recommendation to make. 20th October, 1911.

No. 156 (1911).- —Petition of Mita Wbpiela and 36 Others, of Waikare. Petitioners pray for an inquiry with regard to To Kapowai Block. I have the honour to report thai the Committee recommends thai the prayer of the petitioners be further considered by the Government. 20th October, 1911".

I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee l , this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration. 20th October, 1911.

No. 220 (1911). —Petition of Merbana Clayton, of Rotorua. Petitioner prays that the question of compensation re part of Pukeroa-Oruawhata Block, acquired by the Government, be referred to the Supreme Court. I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 20th October, 1911.
