No. 26. New Zealand, No. 99. Sir, — Government House, Wellington, 13th July, 1911. With reference to my previous despatches conveying expressions ot loyalty and congratulation from New Zealand on the occasion of the Coronation of His the King, I have the honour to transmit to you copy of a letter I have received from the Mayor of Christchurch, together with bound copies of the Coronation Souvenir Card and Coronation Booklet issued in connection with the celebrations in that city, which it is desired should be submitted to Their Majesties the King and Queen for their gracious acceptance I also beg to forward you herewith a copy of the text of an illuminated address presented to the Mayor of Christchurch by the local branch of the NewZealand Civil Service Association, containing expressions of deep loyalty to Their Majesties. A message of loyalty from the inhabitants of the Borough and County ot Wairaate has also been forwarded to me to-day, through my Acting Prime Minister, and a copy of the message accompanies this despatch. In continuation of my despatch, No. 99, of the 13th July, conveying messages of loyalty and congratulation from New Zealand on the occasion of the Coronation of His Majesty the King,. With reference to your despatch, Miscellaneous, of the 19th May, 1, have the honour to state that I am desired by my Government to ask you to ] express to the Army Council its appreciation of their courtesy in obtaining the privileges accorded by the London clubs to the officers and men of the NewZealand Military Contingent attending the Coronation of His Majesty the King.
