This total includes £6,550 from National Endowment revenue. The total expenditure by the Government by way of capitation, subsidies, and grants was for manual instruction £28,968 ss. 6d., and for technical instruction £49,281 15s. Id. The expenditure for the previous year was respectively £24,008 7s. 7d. and £46,418 11s. 7d.
