Section one hundred and three of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following subsection : — (4.) At every sue]) ballot preference shall be given to landless applicants who have children dependent on them, or who have within the two years immediately preceding the date of the ballot competed at least twice unsuccessfully at any previous land-ballot, whether under the principal Act or the Land for Settlements 1908.' " (2.) Sections 104 and 105 of the principal Act are hereby repealed." Clause 8 : Resolved, on the motion of the Hon. Mr. Massey, That clause 8 be amended by the insertion of the words " at any one time " after the words " rent " in line 13.
