The greatest shade temperature was 90° F., recorded in March, and the minimum temperature was 31° F,, in August. Frost occurred on four occasions. The rainfall for this year is exceptionally low. Since 1906, when records were first kept, to the end of this year the average annual precipitation was 81*72 in. on 171 days. In 1907, 110 in. were recorded, which is the maximum fall in the period under review, and the lowest fall prior to this year was 7145 in., in 1908.
