Fees payable—On boilers, £7,969 ; on machinery, £2,736 17s. 6d.; for engine-drivers' certificates issued, £477 10s. ; for electric-tram drivers' certificates issued, £98: total, £11,281 7s. 6d. The actual receipts for boilers and machinery inspected amounted to £9,725 7s. 6d. The difference is represented by fees not yet paid. The actual receipts for engine-drivers' and elecfcrictram drivers' application fees amounted to £799 2s. 6d. This amount includes fees from candidates who failed to pass the examinations.
