Land Revenue. During the year the revenue received was £1,066,496. Land for Settlements Act. As indicated in the table below, sixteen estates, comprising 151,610 acres, Were made available for selection during the year in 214 farms or holdings. There Was a keen demand for all the estates with the exception of those within the Southland district. The number of applications received amounted to 3,990. The following table gives the name of the estate, tho district in which it is situated, together with number of subdivisions and area :■ —
