TELEPHONE EXCHANGES (RETURN RELATIVE TO).

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 11th October, 1915. Ordered, " That thfre be laid before this House a return showing (1) the number of direct connections with the telephone exchanges at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin ; (2) the number of switohboard operators at each centre respectively : and (3) the number of direct connections to each switchboard attendant at each centre respectively."—(Mr. Ell.)
