I have the honour to report that at a meeting of the Native Affairs Committee held yesterday afternoon the following resolution was unanimously carried : — ' Thai the Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the ability, tact, and courtesy displayed by Ihe Chairman, Mr. J. A. Young, at the meetings of the Committee; that this resolution be recorded in tho minutes and reported to the House." Bth October, 1915.
[Translation.] Ripoata Motuhakb, Km le whai honore ahau ki te'ripoata atu i te tiinga o te Komiti, i lv i to awatea inanahi nei. paahitia ana tenei niotini o whai ake nei, a kaore rawa hoki he reo whakahe :— " E hiahia ana te Komiti kia tuhituhia a ratou kupu mihi whakawhetai atu mo te kaha, mo te mohio, me te ngawari hoki o te Tiamana, o J. A. langa, i nga huihuinga o tenei Komiti; me tenei motini hoki me tuhituhi ki runga ki nga meneti a te Komiti ka ripoata atu ai kite Whare." 8 o Oketopa, 1915.
