With reference to your despatch, No. 500, of the Bth September, stating that an arrangement lias been made for the redirection without, charge by the General Post Office of parcels for His Majesty's ships and for the troops, and suggesting that the Government of New Zealand shoiild consider the question of adopting similar arrangements, I have the honour to inform you, at the request of my Ministers, that similar privileges of free redirection will be accorded by the New Zealand Post Office.
