PUBLIC PETITIONS COMMITTEES. NUMBER OF PETITIONS THAT RECEIVED FAVOURABLE RECOMMENDATIONS DURING PAST FIVE YEARS FROM PUBLIC PETITIONS A TO L AND M TO Z COMMITTEES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, AND NUMBER OF SUCH RECOMMENDATIONS RECOGNIZED BY THE GOVERNMENT.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the Ist June, 1916. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing—(l) The number of petitions that have received favourable recommendations during the past five years from the Public Petitions A to L and M to Z Committees; and (2) the number of such recommendations that have been recognized by the Government."—(Mr. Jennings.)
