I have the honour, on behalf of the Board of the Portobello Marine Fish-hatchery, to submit the following report of the work carried on at the hatchery during the twelve months ended 31st March, 1920. Owing to the conditions prevailing throughout the world since the termination of the Great War it has not been possible to resume any work connected with the introduction of food fishes, nor is there any prospect of the resumption of this work for some time to come.
