I have, &c, The Hon. the Minister of .Justice, Wellington. Robert Stout, President. REPORT OF THE PRISONS BOARD FOR THE YIOAR ENDING 31st DECEMBER, 1919. The Board has to report that during the year 1919 it dealt with a total of 701 cases, at meetings held at Wellington, Kaingaroa, Waikeria, Auckland, Roto-aira, Rotorua, New Plymouth, Addington Paparua, Lyttelton, and Invercargill. The following table sets out the dates of the meetings and the number of cases considered at each : —
