NO-LICENSE DISTRICTS (CHARGES AND CONVICTIONS FOR OFFENCES IN AND QUANTITY OF LIQUOR SENT INTO) DURING THE YEARS 1917 AND 1918.
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the sth November, 1919. Ordered, "That there bo laid before this House a return showing, separately,—(l) The number of charges and convictions for offences, and the number and ages of persons convicted for drunkenness, in no-license districts from the Ist January to the 31st December, 1917, and from the Ist January to the 31st December, 1918; (2) the quantity and kind of liquors sent into each no-license district from the Ist January to the 31st December, 1917, and from the Ist January to the 31st December, 1918; and (3) the quantity of each kind of liquor used for manufacture and for personal use in each no-license district from the Ist January to the 31st December, 1917, and from the Ist January to the 31st December, 1918."—(Mr. Isitt.)
