Ordered, "That Standing Order No. 219 be suspended, and that a Native Affairs Committee be appointed, consisting of fifteen members, to consider all petitions, reports, returns, and other documents relating to affairs especially affecting the Native race that may be brought before the House this session, and from time to time to report thereon to the House ; with power to call for persons and papers ; three to be a quorum : the Committee to consist of Mr. Campbell, Mr. Field, Mr. Hawken, Mr. Henare, Mr Hockly, Mr. Hudson, Mr. Jennings, the Hon. Mr. Mac Donald, the Hon. Mr. Ngata, the Hon. Dr. Pomare, Mr. Reed, Mr. R. W. Smith, Mr. Uru, Mr. Young, and the mover." —(Hon. Sir W. H. Hermes.) Friday, the 9th Day of July, 1920. Wednesday, the Uth Day of August, 1920. Ordered, " That the Native Land Amendment Bill be referred to the Native Affairs Committee for consideration and report."—(Mr. Wilforii.) Friday, the 15th Day of October, 1920. Ordered, " That the Report on the Petition of Tonga O'Carroll be referred back to the Native Affairs Committee for further consideration." —(Mr. S. G. Smith.) Wednesday, the 20th Day of October, 1920. Ordered, " That the name of Mr. K. S. Williams be added to the Native Affairs Committee in place of the name of the late Honourable W. D. S.
