ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS. RETURN SHOWING THE EFFECT OF THE TARIFF OF 1921 FOR THE NINE MONTHS ENDED 30th SEPTEMBER, 1922.
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated 18th October, 1922. Ordered, "That there be laid before this House a return showing the effect of the tariff of 1921 as follows : (1) The Customs and Excise duty received in respect of alcoholic liquor for the nine months ended 30th September, 1921; and (2) the Customs and Excise duty received in respect of alcoholic liquor for the nine months ended 30th September, 1922 ; and showing the respective amounts collected in respect of spirits, wines, and ales separately."—(Mr. McCallum.)
