Mr. Buddo, Mr. Field, Mr. Hockly, Sir 6. Hunter, Mr. Macpherson, Mr. Parry, Mr. Williams, and the mover." —(Hon. Sir M. Pomabe. ) Tuesday, the 19th Day of August, 1924. Praying for amendment of the law relating to mental defectives, granting right to be heard byMagistrate in ordinary Court proceedings, representation by solicitor, and right to appeal to Supreme Court. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration. 16th September, 1924.
