No. 277/26. —Petition of Alice E. Tatum, of Manakau. Protesting against proposed legislation relating to rights of way which she alleges will seriously affect her position in a dispute between herself and one Robert Bevan, as to right of way across land owned by her under Land Transfer title. She prays that her title may not be disturbed in any way. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion the said dispute between petitioner and Mr. Bevan can be settled by process of law, and it therefore has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 3rd September, 1926. — [Translation.] Nama 277/26. —Pitihana a Alice E.
