No. 70.—Petition of Sydney Francis MacPherson. Praying to have his name placed on the Dental Register for New Zealand. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 28th July, 1926.
Special Report. I have the honour to report that this Committee records its high appreciation of the able, tactful, and impartial manner in which the Chairman, Mr. W. J. Girling, presided over the deliberations of the Public Health Committee during the present session, and desires that this resolution be recorded in the minutes and be reported to the House. H. Special Report. I have the honour to report that this Committee records its complete satisfaction with the able manner in which the Clerk. Mr. J. P. Jarrett discharged his duties, and desires to express to him its best wishes for his success and welfare during his journey abroad, and desires that this resolution be recorded in the minutes and be reported to the House. Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Public Health Committee, consisting of ten members, has held five meetings during the session, with an average attendance of seven members. One Bill and two petitions were referred to the Committee, and these were duly considered and reported upon to the House. Bth September, 1926.
