Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to whom shall be referred all Bills specially dealing with the revision of the law ; with power to confer and sit together with any similar Committee appointed by the Legislative Council ; the Committee to have power to call for persons, papers, and records; three to be a quorum : the Committee to consist of Mr. Field, Mr. H. E. Holland, Mr. E. P. Lee, Mr. Lysnar, Mr. H . G. R. Mason, Mr. J. Mason, the Hon. Mr. Ngata, the Hon. Mr. Downie Stewart, Mr. Sidey, and the mover." — (Hon. Mr. F. J. Rolleston.) Friday, the 2nd Day of July, 1926. Ordered, " That the Fire Brigades Bill be referred to the Statutes Revision Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Bollard.) Tuesday, the 6th Day oi? July, 1926. REPORTS, Fire Brigades Bill. The Statutes Revision Committee, to which was referred the above-mentioned Bill, has the honour to report that the Bill has been carefully considered, and the Committee recommends that it be allowed to proceed, with the amendments as shown on the copy of the Bill attached. 9th July, 1926.
