There were 18! candidates for the Entrance Scholarship Examination, 34 gaining scholarships, 96 other's passing the examination with credit, and 47 qualifying for matriculation. The number of candidates for the Matriculation Examination was 5,592, of whom 1,381 passed the whole examination and 824 completed partial passes.
