REPORTS. No. 7/1928.- —Petition of Roger Delamere Dansey, of Rotorua. Praying for validation of his late wife's (Wikitoria Kahuao Dansey) will. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 15th August, 1928. No. 344/1927. —Petition of Hinurewa te Kakahi and 2 Others. Protesting against lessees of their papakainga subleasing to a sawmiller, and they pray for relief. I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make with regard to this petition. 15th August, 1928. Praying for a subsidy of 10s. in the pound in respect of expenses of a case taken to the Privy Council to decide the rights of tenant and owner of Native lands in regard to timber. I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration. 24th August, 1928.
